VILNIUS. The portfolio of UAB DnB NORD Lizingas, a member of the international finance group, grew by 36.8 percent in the first nine month of 2007, thus outpacing overall market growth by almost three percentage points.

The portfolio of the company which offers all types of leasing services reached LTL 679 million at the start of October. With a focus on smooth and fast customer service and having upgraded the company‘s accounting system and software, the number of the new agreements signed by DnB NORD Lizingas increased by 41 percent year-on-year to 2.705.

„The rapid growth was influenced by offering of additional or new services, such as motor vehicle leasing with insurance and financial leasing with residual value to individual and corporate customers, at highly competitive prices and active presence in the regions through efficient usage of the country-wide branch network of the DnB NORD Bankas “, said Povilas Milašauskas, Director General of UAB DnB NORD Lizingas.

As compared to the same period last year, the market share of new motor vehicles leasing held by the leasing company increased from 5.3 to 6.4 percent. As to the third quarter result alone, it amounted to 7.25 percent.

During the first nine months of 2007, in the heavy vehicles leasing segment the market share of new trailers held by UAB DnB NORD Lizingas increased from 4.7 to 7.1 percent, whereas the market share of new trucks rose from 3.8 percent to 5.2 percent.

At the end of September the portfolio structure of DnB NORD Lizingas included heavy commercial vehicles and special purpose vehicles amounting to 39.6 percent, industrial, commercial, agricultural and other equipment - to 29 percent, motor vehicles – to 20.7 percent and real estate - to 10.7 percent.
